Training at Our Core
At Assist Services Group, training and education is the basis of all of our services. We believe that for any service that we provide to our customers – our staff at all levels – must be appropriate trained, educated, and qualified to ensure that service achieves not only exceeds the expectations of our customers but our industry. We have full corporate buy-in to our training ethos which runs throughout our organisation from the board, to directors, managers / trainers and administration staff. Here at Assist Services Group, we fully commit to actively investing to make our industry of safety and security, one of quality and we know that can only be achieved by having the appropriate quality and relevant training in place.
All of our trainers have direct and long-standing experience within the sector they are a trainer in – so that they can pass on not only the standard syllabus of the qualification itself – but how and why it is so relevant to learn and develop to apply giving real-world examples. We know the training market is over-run with training companies, and we do not want to be another “learner churner”.
Finding the right people
From the moment a person starts with us, we review their training and through our company induction programme we are able to ensure that all staff who are successful via our recruitment process have the minimum standard of training – not just from a ‘tick-box’ via the production of a certificate – but provide the refresher training in order to put into application as and when necessary for our customers.
Every client is different and unique and we understand that here at Assist Services Group, given this we appreciate that an “off the shelf course” may not work for all client requirements; because of this, for many of our clients, we have written bespoke training courses – many of which have become accredited sitting on the National OfQual framework – for our staff as well as their own, and this investment of education into staff allows us to train staff to the standards that we at Assist Services Group require in order to deliver the services to our customers.
